Dubbo STP Opened by Major Dickerson
Representatives of the Cockram Envico team were pleased to be invited to attend the opening of the Dubbo STP Major Upgrade by Dubbo’s Mayor Matthew Dickerson on March 1st 2016. This GC21 construction contract at over $25m represents the biggest single capital works project ever carried out by Dubbo City Council and it ensures Dubbo has adequate facilities in place to service the needs of an estimated population of up to 55,000 people by 2020.
Speakers at the opening acknowledged an exceptionally smooth running project, characterised by highly cooperative stakeholders in Council, NSW Public Works, Aecom and Cockram Envico delivering a project on programme and well inside Council original budget expectations. For the Cockram Envico Joint Venture this project represents the largest value project to date, completed with a complementary blend of skilled staff from both organisations, which has deepened our presence in the infrastructure space.
Cockram Envico hopes to be awarded its 6th JV project in March 2016, currently has two successful EoI results with pending tender submissions and continues to pursue active prospects in Australia and the Pacific.
