Peter has spent 40+ years in the construction industry gaining experience throughout the East coast of Australia, South Pacific and South East Asia. Over this period Peter has held many roles including estimating, project management, cost planning, project planning and programming and site management. Peter currently holds the position of Shareholder/Director of various companies in different sectors of the construction industry including associated companies Reeves International and Contract Management Systems (CMS), RHK and CCB Envico.
Peter is a hands-on Director and enjoys being closely involved in all aspects of these companies offering advice on all stages of the construction process from tendering, design and material selection through to staff development, guiding the overall strategic direction and upholding their reputation for exceptional service and quality.
Peter is interested in a number of diverse areas of the building industry including civil works, water treatment, infrastructure development, the restoration of historic structures and the preservation/conversion of existing landmark buildings that go through a transformation to become a modernised and integral part of the built environment.
His extensive experience and willingness to share his knowledge has led to Peter’s involvement on various high profile bodies including the DFAT Construction Panel for Overseas Property Office (OPO), AUSAID Standing Offer Panel, World Bank Global Project Management Services (Asia Pacific), Chair of Industry Advisory Panel, Trade Institute of Victoria. Peter also tirelessly pursues his love of Rugby Union as Vice President of The University of Melbourne Rugby Club and a member of the Melbourne Rebels Weary Dunlop Club.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Building (QS) from The University of Melbourne (1975) and is a Registered Building Practitioner, Victoria:
